Resident Quality Engineer
VQS can provide your company with an in-house Quality Liaison to provide engineering and quality support. Our Liaison will be your voice of the supplier at your customer’s location. Depending on your quality needs or concerns, VQS can provide your company with a liaison either full-time in-plant, part-time, or strictly on an as-needed basis. VQS has a network of Liaisons available to represent your company at any location.
Field Representation
Our liaisons are available to travel around the country to multiple locations so your company does not have to dedicate one employee to the task. Our liaisons focus on maintaining dialogue with your customers and have the ability to discuss and resolve issues quickly.
Launch Assist
VQS provides launch support ranging from simple issue reporting to 24 hour line-side support. We also provide complete root cause analysis and issue resolution with the launch team. The VQS team members are familiar with the launch processes and have a trained Statistical Engineer on staff to facilitate root cause analysis.
ETO/PTR Support
The VQS team has experience in following both Engineering Try Outs (ETO) and Production Trial Runs (PTR). This gives instant feedback and potential issue identification for these trials.
Quality Engineering
VQS has degreed engineers on staff to help root cause more than just simple quality issues. Some issues are more complex, with sheet metal variations and multiple mating parts. It is very important to understand the processes involved with both building the parts and the final product. The engineering problem solving techniques help cut to the root cause quickly.
Engineering Studies
Our team members also have experience conducting studies to help understand the parts and/or the process. Whether studying the variation of your product, its mating part or the assembly process, VQS takes an impartial stance while collecting the data. All collected data is confidential.
